WHAT DOES ZUBBIT DO?
Let's face it URL Links are getting longer and longer, especially with all those fun UTM parameters added to the end. Even without UTM some links are just too long, plus they don't offer any other marketing opportunities you get from a shortening a link.
Here's an example below where I've taken a long URL and shortened it so I can use it on twitter where the max character limit is 140 characters
Original Link: https://marketinginsidergroup.com/strategy/what-does-2019-hold-for-digital-marketing-9-agency-owners-bare-their-hearts/
All we need to do is drop that long URL into the link option in zubbit and press SAVE and we are done!

Once you've saved that, zubbit now gives you a nice new link like this: https://zubb.it/FiXwfB
WHAT IS A LINK SHORTENER?
A Link Shortener is a simple tool that takes a long URL and turns it into whatever URL you would like it to be.
Just to clarify that a Link shortener is the same as a URL Shortener… is the same as a Link Shrinker…is the same as Link Masking… and lots of other variations!! They are all different ways of saying the same thing, which is that we want to take something long and ugly, then make it short and cute. Simple!
WHY USE A LINK SHORTENER?
1) Hiding or masking, or branding an ugly affiliate link - Many people don't like clicking on an affiliate link simply because they know you’re about to make money off them.
2) To shorten or beautify a link - Some long URLs are a pain to copy and paste or type anywhere else online. Or are simply too long for places like Twitter where you are limited to 140 characters.
3) Retargeting - Masking a link so you can add retargeting pixels into the links you share.
4) To track clicks and stats - maybe you are just masking the link so that you can track how many people click on this one specific link. This is a digital marketing best practice when sharing links online
5) Branding Opportunities - Masking a link so you can add some additional branding and call-to-actions.
Not only is zubbit a powerful Link Shortener, but it also gives you the ability to brand your links as you wish.
So you can either use the out-of-box short links zubbit creates like https://zubb.it/FiXwfB
OR
We also let you plug in your own domain names and also create custom slugs.
So instead you could have something like brand.com/marketing
A branded link, such as "brand.com/marketing" increases trust and raises your CTR (click-through rates) by up to 40%.

WHAT DOES ZUBBIT DO?
Link Swapping or the ability to edit a destination URL on a short link you've created is one of the most important features of a good URL shortener
It’s such a simple and obvious thing to do, yet most of the link shortening services don’t let you do it…
Well let's say you create a link and share it across multiple channels and then one day in the future you need to change the page your link points to? What do you do? Well, most services don't let you change it so that leaves you in trouble.
But all is not lost as zubbit will let you change the URL destination of any link you've created and shared and it will just take you seconds to change the destination and all those links you've shared automatically switch over to the new destination, just like magic.
Virtually everything on zubbit can be changed even once shared, so no need to worry!!
AFFILIATE MARKETER?
If you are an Affiliate Marketer this is where Link Swapping really does save your bacon over and over..
How many times have you had hundreds of affiliate links published out there only to find that the affiliate company changes the URL or switches the offer? What happens? yes, all your links go dead.
So now with zubbit's Link Swapping functionality you can switch those hundreds or even thousands of links over in one click to a brand new destination URL. It's so powerful
Change those Bios!
One of the common reasons to Link Swap is perhaps if you've saved a short link on all your various Bio's on Twitter, LinkedIn, Instgram etc and you might want to switch them all over to a new destination.
Perhaps you have a new offer, a new book, a new service you want to switch those links over to? Well zubbit has it sorted as you can edit the destination URL on your shared links as many times as you want!

Build custom audiences while driving more traffic, leads, clicks & sales
by adding Remarketing Pixels to every link you share
Using retargeting pixels on each of your shared zubbit links you are able to create custom audiences on a number of different social media networks and/or retargeting ad platforms.
From these custom audiences you will then be able to run retargeting adverts back to those who clicked on your original zubbit link.
It might all sound a bit techie but don't worry it's really easy with no coding required and in just a few steps you can be building powerful retargeting audiences within minutes.

How does it work?
Retargeting anyone in three easy steps:
Create a zubbit link from your URL
The URL can be anything from a blog post, to a company web page, an event page or a link to a product. You can add one or more retargeting pixels from either social media networks and/or retargeting ad platforms to your link.
Share your link!
Now share your shortened zubbit link out to the world!. Share your links on social media, on ad platforms, on emails to grow your custom audience.
Retarget your custom audience
As your custom audiences begin to grow you can start to run retargeting adverts to them across their social media networks and virtually all over the web! So when anyone clicks on any link you share you’ll still be able to retarget them at a later time.
How can I use it?
There are lots of ways you can use zubbit to do retargeting but here are some of the most
common to get you thinking!
Email retargeting
Using zubbit you can make every link you use for your email marketing contain a retargeting pixel. So anyone that shows interest and clicks on your link can be retargeted with custom adverts later.
Content retargeting
Whether it's Medium, Tumblr, Quora, Wordpress or where ever you publish content you can use zubbit links to build custom audiences so you can maximise your content where ever it is.
Social media retargeting
Use zubbit links on all your Social Media networks to make sure you get extra ROI on every click you get. Zubbit links work on all social media networks.
Influencer retargeting
In the past your marketing with social influence's was a one-off and done. But by giving them a zubbit link you can now continue to retarget to their audience long after the initial promotion ends.
Unlike other platforms zubbit works with virtually every ads platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Quora, Google AdWords, AdRoll, Perfect Audience, SiteScout, Google Tag Manager and many more...

Get more traffic, leads, clicks & sales with 100% viral free traffic
by adding a branded call-to-action to every link you share
Whether you are sharing your own content or other high-converting content you need a way to increase engagement and send traffic to your product or service of your choice such as your latest blog post, sales page or affiliate offer.
Zubbit lets you add a fully branded call-to-action to every link you share. So instead of just sharing great content you can now add your call-to-action to those sites and share a shortened zubbit link instead. This link still takes the viewer to the content but they will now see the content PLUS your call-to-action. If they then share that content with their followers your call-to-action goes with it!
You can create multiple call-to-actions, all with your own image, message, and brand colours. You can have text, video, audio, image and social media call-to-actions!

How does it work?
It just takes three easy steps to add a branded call-to-action to every link you share:
Find a link to share
Copy the URL link of the website content you want to share with your audience. It can be a blog post, a news article, a video link or anything that you want to share.
Create your call-to-action link
Create a call-to-action and also add a retargeting pixel if you wish. You can customise the message and appearance of the call-to-action and branding to fit your own.
Share it with your audience
Simply share the new shortened zubbit link with your audience on social media, email newsletters, or any other way you like. Anyone who visits that link will see your call-to-action and the website content.
What types of call-to-actions do we support?
zubbit supports MORE call-to-action types than any other platform, allowing you to use text, images, video and audio to make your message truly unique and eye catching.

Video
Images

Social Media
Let's dig into the detail of our call-to-action's
zubbit has some powerful ways of creating call-to-action links and also customising them, so let's dig into a bit more detail on each.
zubbit has three incredible Branded Text-based Call-to-Action's to choose from to apply to the links you share.
We've got our Classic Call-to-Action, our Chat Call-to-Action and also our Ribbon Call-to-Action. All three give you complete control over the content and look and feel of each Call-to-Action.
Here's what you can set:
1 - Brand Image - You can apply any Brand Image you want to your call-to-action and also use animated Gif's if you want.
2 - Brand Name - On the top of your Call-To-Action you can add a brand, product or service name.
3 - Call-To-Action Text - Next you can add a some Call-To-Action text, and using our powerful styling options you can make these look really cool.
4 - Button - Lastly you've got a button with whatever text you wish on which when pressed will go to the website/page you've setup.

All the elements, brand image, brand name, a button can be connected to a website/URL you want the reader to be sent to if they click.
The whole thing can be made to look really cool using our powerful Theming Engine as well as all the powerful customisation tricks we give you.
Classic Text Call-to-Action Example
In the Classic Call-To-Action the brand image sits within the call-to-actions frame. Using the Theming Engine you can set all the visual stylings you are seeing in this example, including the border style and width, the various text elements, styles, colours, weights. Plus you can set your own CSS styles and add emojis to make them look really fun.
Chat Text Call-to-Action Example
In the Chat Call-To-Action we put the brand image into its own box to the left in a chat-style.
Ribbon Text Call-to-Action Example
The final example is full width across the whole screen. You can have a lot of fun with this one!!
With zubbit you can create fantastic call-to-actions using images. These could be images of your product, info-graphics or just fun images that align with your service. We also allow for Animated Gif images which can look really funky. The images themselves are clickable to the website/page you want to send your viewer to, and you can also add a Text Call-to-action or a button which is clickable too.
Image Example 1
In this Image example we've also created a great looking Call-to-Action from an image but this time created a clickable call-to-Action text under the image and add some fun emojis. Both the image and button are clickable to a website/page of your choice.
Image Example 2
In this Image example we've created a great looking Call-to-Action from an image and a simple button below. Both the image and button are clickable to a website/page of your choice. We've also themed it to be congruent with the style of the image.
Image Example 3
In this Image example we've also created a great looking Call-to-Action from an image but this time created a clickable call-to-Action text under the image and add some fun emojis. Both the image and button are clickable to a website/page of your choice.
This decade is set to be massive for audio advertising. The days of radio have long since evolved into a new boom of podcasting, with over 100,000 new podcasts being created each year. To that back-drop, marketing teams are starting to take audio-advertising really seriously and why not? Well, one of the greatest things about audio is that it’s cheaper—far cheaper to produce than virtually any other media-based experiences for adverts.
zubbit have made it easy for you to attach an audio advert or message to any link you share, and have it fully branded to fit your brand. We currently support audio content from Soundcloud and Mixcloud and will be adding more in soon.
Check out these cool examples to give you a flavour of what you can do. Note using our theming engine you can literally make these look however you want:
Audio Call-to-Action
Example 1 - Visual Style
In this audio example we've used the visual style format which takes the image associated with the audio and makes it clickable to play the sound. Underneath we've styled a button that fits with the look of the image and style of advert.
Audio Call-to-Action
Example 2 - Sleeve Style
In this audio example we've used the sleeve style format which combines a thumbnail of the audio image along with an audio wave to the right. Underneath, rather than a button we've styled the call to action in a text format which is clickable to the destination.
Audio Call-to-Action
Example 3 - Classic Style
With the classic style you just get the sound wave displayed and to make this one a little different we've changed the border colour and button style. Note, you can make it look really good by adding emoji's to your call-to-action text.
Undoubtedly, video marketing is one of the newest and most important additions to any marketing teams toolbox.
There has been a full-on video marketing revolution happening for a while now and according to Wyzowl statistics, 63% of businesses have started using video content marketing. Out of those 82% of businesses feel video marketing is an important part of their strategy. Video is progressing rapidly and will reach new heights sooner than we think. This trend is fueled by 83% of businesses believing that video marketing gives them a good ROI..
So for zubbit it was very important for us to not only support video but to support as many video platforms and as many video format/ratios as possible to give you the widest reach.
So with zubbit you can create video call-to-actions from content from YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion and Twitch.
Not only that, unlike many other link URL shorteners on the market, who only support standard widescreen 16:9 ratio, or have no video support at all, zubbit supports most video ratios you might want to use, including:
1) Widescreen (16:9)
2) Vertical (9:16)
3) Square (1:1)
4) Cinemascope (21:9)
5) Standard TV (4:3)
6) Classic Film (3:2)

Here are a few examples of some of the video formats/ratios we support
WIDESCREEN (16:9) VIDEO
The first video format we support on zubbit is Widescreen (16:9) ratio. It's probably one of the most widely used formats on YouTube etc, but formats like Vertical is chasing its heels......So watch out for Vertical videos!!!!
So all you need to do is take any video content in this format from any of our supported video platforms, copy the embed code into zubbit and add a call-to-action message along with a destination URL and you are done! You've now got a hot new video call-to-action that you can add to any link you share.
Then if someone clicks on the call-to-action they will be taken to the destination of your choice. Easy!
Click on the image on the right to see a widescreen video in action.
VERTICAL (9:16) VIDEO
One of our hot new features on zubbit is support for vertical video.
The fact is that today three out of five videos are watched on a mobile device, and over half the videos on the internet are watched on mobile devices.
On top of that people hold their phones vertically 94% of the time.
Even though our field of vision is horizontal, people still hold their phones vertically almost all of the time, so vertical videos work for how people most often use their phones, and also how they watch a video today.
So its a 100% MUST that any link shortener offering video call-to-actions supports vertical video and luckily zubbit does just that.
With zubbit you can also style these in any way you want to match your brand and message using our powerful theming engine. These look really good live.
Click on either of the videos on the right to see them in action:
CINEMASCOPE (21:9) VIDEO
For those of you who want to go for the full 100% cinematic experience, we now support Cinemascope (21:9) ratio videos to make video call-to-actions.
This is a great format and to our knowledge, there isn't a single other platform out there supporting it, so you can have some real fun with this and do something no one else can do.
Click on the image on the right to see cinemascope in action.
Without a doubt Social Media is the biggest thing that's ever happened to the Internet.
More than 4.5 billion people are using the internet at the start of 2020, with the number of active social media users passed the 3.8 billion mark with this number increasing by more than 9 percent (321 million new users) since this time last year.
So to build your brand or your business you need to be using Social Media.
In 2020 we started to build Social Media support into zubbit so you could create eye-catching call-to-action links out of any Social Media content.
So with zubbit you can simply take any post off any of these social platforms and by dropping the embed code into zubbit you can make a call-to-action out of it that you can share on your links.
It's a fantastic way of using both your social content and in fact any great content on these social platforms to drive you more traffic and engagement. We are one of the few Link URL Shortener's offering full integrations into these platforms.
We currently support the following social media platforms
2.6 billion active users
1 billion active users
TikTok
800 million active users
690 million active users
330 million active users
330 million active users
322 million active users
Quora
300 million active users
Kickstarter
480,000 completed projects

Here are a few examples of some of the social media platforms we support
With over 2.6 billion monthly active users, Facebook remains the No.1 place for Social Media content.
With zubbit you can create a Call-to-action out of any public Facebook Profile and Facebook Page post. The posts itself will be clickable back to the original post and you can add a button below to send the viewer to your website.
Click on the image below to check out a Facebook example:
Instagram with over one billion active monthly users remains one of the top platforms to post content to and use content for your promotions.
Coupled with our amazing theming engine zubbit has been setup to make the most of Instagram posts and let you take any Instagram content and turn it into an eye-catching call-to-action you can add to your zubbit links.
If you are a business, brand or performing artists you will love these! They look amazing and can be themed to match your brand.
Click on the images below to check out some cool Instagram examples:
TIKTOK
TikTok is the newest trend in social media with more than 1.5 billion downloads on the App Store and Google Play and more than 500 million active monthly users.
As TikTok continues to surge in popularity, many brands will be considering the ways that this platform is shaping culture and relevant conversations, and want to get in on the opportunity to increase their brand awareness.
With such a rapid growth rate occurring, there are truly endless opportunities for brands to activate influencer marketing campaigns on TikTok.
The massive allure of TikTok for businesses is the sheer number of active users on the platform. By comparison, it took Instagram six years before it had the number of active users that TikTok does.
So with that in mind we've added TikTok to zubbit and you can now create a zubbit call-to-action link using any content from TikTok!!
With nearly 700 million active monthly users LinkedIn remains one of the most important B2B websites for finding contacts, leads and potential customers.
zubbit will now let you create a Call-to-Action from a post both from a LinkedIn profile or from a LinkedIn Company Page, and our theming engine will let you brand the Call-to-Action to match your business.
Click on the image below to check out a LinkedIn example:
QUORA
Quora is a hot platform at the moment, with over 300 million active monthly users. If you search for virtually any question in a search engine these days, then Quora posts will come out near the top.
zubbit now lets you create call-to-actions from any Quora answer. So a great way of driving traffic back to your Quora profile or to any website you want to send the viewer.
Click on the image below to check out a Quora example:
Twitter is still one of the hottest platforms for instant public chat for trending topics, so with 330 million active monthly users, it remains when of the GO TO platforms to share content from.
With zubbit you can create a Call-to-action out of any public Twitter post and send traffic either back to your twitter post or to any content via the call-to-action button below the social post.
Click on the image below to check out a Twitter example:
KICKSTARTER
As of December 2019, Kickstarter has received more than $4.6 billion in pledges from 17.2 million backers to fund nearly 500,000 projects so far, such as films, music, stage shows, comics, journalism, video games, technology, publishing, and food-related projects.
In terms of Crowdsourcing, Kickstarter is one of the go-to platforms to look at if you want to fund your project.
So with that in mind we added Kickstarter onto zubbit, to help that community with another tool and way to share their Kickstarter campaigns
So with zubbit you can create a call-to-action link from any content and add a Kickstarter campaign to your call-to-action. We support two formats of Kickstarter campaigns, as shown on the examples to the right.
If you've set up or are thinking of starting a Kickstarter campaign then zubbit is a great way to help you promote that campaign from every link you share.
One of the really fun things you can do with your zubbit call-to-action links is use emojis's to spice them up a bit.
But it's not just about fun, Emojis can drive in immense traffic if you use them in your messages. 30% of people use Emojis several times a single day. It isn’t a surprise that emoji-based marketing campaigns have also increased by 777% year-over-year according to Appboy Study.
Twitter saw 25.4% more engagement using Emojis. In Facebook, the use of Emojis resulted in 57% more likes, 33% more comments, and 33% more shares. Things are no different in Instagram. 50% of all the comments and captions have Emojis.
So adding FULL Emoji support into zubbit was a priority. If you are using or looking at a link shortener call-to-action tool that does not say it supports emoji then you need to keep looking, but you need to look no further than zubbit
Beyond the great theming engine on zubbit, we've given our customers the ability to add their own custom CSS to their call-to-action links.
In short custom CSS styles gives you the ability to change the style of individual words or characters which override the global theme settings of the theme selected.
Currently, there are three different styles which can be simply applied to any Call-to-Action Link - which are Bold, Italics and Underscore
Custom CSS Styles can be applied to the Brand Title, Call-to-Action Message and Button Text as shown in the example below:

Then if you want to make it even more fun using some of our more advanced custom styling methods you can change lots more.

Open Graph Tags are the tags that Social Media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and lots more use when you share a post on one of those platforms. They use the tags to pull in an image, the title, and a description from the web page being shared.
What we have done with zubbit is to allow you to override the tags pulled in from the actual website you've shared via a zubbit link.
Why is that cool?
Well what that lets you do is add an enhance those tags to better suit your message and intent in sharing that link.
Let's look an example:

The Netflix, Dominio Pizza Example
In this example on the left we are sharing a page describing the 85 best movies on Netflix and on it we want to advertise Domino Pizza via one of our Classic Text Call-to-Actions.
Once I've created a link in the zubbit back office to the page using my Dominio Pizza call-to-action, I can now edit the Open Graph Tags.
So as you can see on the right to spice it up a bit we've added some pizza Emoji's to the title tag and also pre-framed the viewer by adding the text "Sit back with some Pizza 🍕🍕🍕" to the description. So when they click on my link they are already thinking about Pizza.

Okay, let's save and share the finished link on Twitter... and we should see the overridden tags rather than the original tags taken from the website. Cool?
Here is what you will see on Twitter if you share the link with the brand new enhanced tags we've changed.

and....here is what you will see if you click on the link where the user is sent to Netflix article with a Domino Pizza advert added.

Using software like hootsuite or buffer you can be running on auto-pilot 24/7
with our built in RSS functionality

zubbit has built in RSS (which stands for Rich Site Summary) technology that lets you plugin one or more RSS Feeds which are read and for each post within the feed zubbit.io will create a zubbit link which points to the URL of that post.
RSS Feeds are a standardized way for a website to publish what content it has on its website and are used by mostly all content publishing websites.
To achieve automation you simply hook up your new zubbit RSS Feed link into auto-posting software like Hootsuite or Buffer which allows you to create automated channels of content posting 24-7 either with call-to-actions on and/or just retargeting pixels.
How does it work?
RSS and automation in three easy steps:
Find great content websites
Give zubbit the RSS feeds of which websites that have the content that you like to share.
zubbit generates new RSS feed
zubbit will generate a new RSS feed of that website’s content, but replace the links to the content with zubbit links with a call-to-action and/or with retargeting pixels.
Hook up RSS feed with software
Hook up your RSS feed zubbit generated to your auto-posting software of choice and share from the RSS feed as you would any other feed.
